Inspired by the weekly features in Mommy In Los Angeles® Magazine, WOWMOM is a lifestyle brand created to help continue our commitment of sharing the unique stories of the women of Los Angeles. We offer statement pieces: upcycled clothing, fashion jewelry, candles, cosmetics, art and e-books as a means of supporting and empowering local female entrepreneurs and organizations that help L.A. Moms. We also offer workshops on the topics of storytelling for the purpose of branding yourself and personal growth through an “abundance” mindset. The term WOWMOM was inspired by the idea that despite individual differences, “We’re One Woman” (WOW) and we’re all on the same journey to raise a better generation of Angelenos.

Born in East Los Angeles, Anabel remembers her childhood as a combination of memories from L.A.’s San Gabriel Valley and the coastal city of Oxnard, CA.

Motivated by a drive to pursue her passion for journalism and storytelling, she published Mommy In Los Angeles® Magazine in 2018 and founded WOWMOM® as a venue to keep the magazine project alive. Every purchase goes toward the hiring of Los Angeles female creatives with the intention to continue elevating women’s voices.
